Runny Honey
Spinney's Harvest Honey supply both delicious runny and set honey depending on your preference.
Not all honey is the same. Did you know, that depending on the type of pollen and nectar the bees forage, the honey produced by the bees can look and taste differently?
The Borage flower and wildflower honey, gives a light coloured honey and has a light fruity flavour. Fabulous on toast and to drizzle over pancakes. The Ivy flower gives a strong tasting honey and is popular when used for cooking.
Given the variety of different tasting honey, there is sure to be one which will become your favourite. Click here

Set and Raw Honey
In addition to runny honey, Spinney's Harvest Honey sells Set honey from different seasonal flowers, as above. Honey from the Rapeseed crop is creamy and sweet, with a fabulous flavour and is a popular buy.
If you are looking for something different, our unfiltered honey is a must. Our raw honey has not been filtered and retains all the goodness that the bees produce, within it. The health benefits are in the form of propolis and pollen, which can reportedly help build immunity for those who suffer from hayfever throughout spring and summer.
Spinney's Harvest Set Honey is formed through honey crystallising. Some customers may believe their honey has 'gone off', if their product starts crystallising. Not so! Crystallisation is a natural process and different types of honey may set quicker than others. This is due to the type of flower that the bees have fed on and it's all down to the balance between the two types of sugars from the nectar (glucose and fructose), which is the deciding factor as to whether honey crystallizes quickly or more slowly. Your honey will remain delicious.
Cut Comb
Our cut comb honey is pure wax honey comb which has retained delicious honey within it. Its great on ice-cream but equally delightful eaten straight out of the box!
